The COVID-19 world epidemic state created a lot of new challenges for the whole society, including the vulnerable youth sector. Life in extreme circumstances, such as a state of pandemic, made vulnerable groups even more vulnerable. Pandemic restrictions and lockdowns canceled or changed a lot of plans, projects, and educational programs. Moreover, these circumstances restructured the nature of social contacts, relationships, and values of every person on earth. Lots of young people worldwide had huge changes in their lives, lost their jobs and career opportunities, went online, lost motivation for innovativeness, and participation in society. The situation young people were facing was complex, challenging, ambiguous but at the same time full of opportunities. In such a situation, dealing with unexpected circumstances and ambiguity was one of the essential skills for young people to cope with difficulties and challenges they faced back then and most probably would face even more in the future. All the above were issues and needs that came to an agreement with the needs of all organizations (applicant and partners), and we tried, according to our project, to provide all the above-mentioned issues and to be reconnected and recharged after the heavy pressure pandemic put on us. The specific focus of the project was taken on youth entrepreneurship, which offered innovative solutions for economic and educational growth among young people, as well as personal development. This Professional Development Activity gathered youth workers, staff members of organizations, and youth leaders from 9 counties to equip them with the tools and methods to develop the competences, soft skills, adaptability, and ability to think out of the box, finding alternative ways, and other skills essential for being initiative and having an entrepreneurial mindset. The aim of the project was to empower youth workers and youth leaders and to increase the sense of youth entrepreneurship and initiative by using tools and methods of improvisational theater. The project's specific objectives were: · to develop competences, social skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset through applied improvisation · to give an understanding and feeling of Improvisation as a tool for personal development and as a method in youth work · to introduce and provide basic knowledge and practice on social entrepreneurship · to provide a space for taking initiative and sharing best practices focusing on non-formal educational methods The perfect instrument for this was improvisational theater, which was the main method of the project. Additionally, all the working methods were designed according to the principles of experiential, non-formal learning in a multicultural context. The specificity of improvisation techniques, as well as best practices in social entrepreneurship and initiatives, could make a big difference in noticing opportunities in the modern changing and ambiguous world.
