The project objectives were the training of 40 internal trainers who prepared educational programs on the topic of technology and agricultural production of the southern part of Spain and Portugal and their approaches to climate change and global warming. In addition, the selected trainers obtained information, for example, on how useful water for irrigation and animal production is handled on the island of Madeira, which is unique in this respect. We made the obtained information available to the association's target groups thanks to face-to-face seminars and also with the help of an educational e-learning course with the help of digital technologies. We have also expanded the educational program "Fictitious Farm" with additional newly acquired information. After the end of this project, with our educational activities, we want to emphasize the issue of climate change and address target groups that are already solving this issue, primarily agricultural primary producers and other target groups that deal with ecology and nature protection.
Association of graduates and friends of the agricultural school in Chrudim, z.s. with its focus, activities and educational activities, it supports the field of agriculture, ecology and landscape creation. The global topics of climate change and warming are gradually bringing changes that will affect agricultural production and thus the composition of cultivated crops and livestock breeding. In this project, we wanted to expand the competence of internal trainers with knowledge from southern states that are already dealing with the effects of climate change and calving and had to set up agricultural production technologies that eliminate, for example, drought and lack of water. We have chosen the southern location of Spain and Portugal in the northern part of the surroundings of Porto and the southern part of the island of Madeira as host countries for solving the project objectives. The receiving agricultural farms and other organizations have made available to us information that, with a high probability, we will also solve in the course of 10 years, and therefore we want to be sufficiently informed and pass on knowledge to agricultural primary producers and the general public.
