Objectives

Through the mobility of pedagogical staff, we want to strengthen the professional competencies of our school teachers, enrich their knowledge with new forms and methods of teaching, evaluation system, etc., through innovative approaches that they do not have the opportunity to master in the Czech environment. The experience gained will then be disseminated to the whole team through pedagogical meetings, annual sharing and competence teams. Through the mobility of pupils in the sixth year of primary school, there will be a peer exchange of experiences, the acquisition of new skills and knowledge, which will not only affect their further educational direction, but also affect changes in the home school environment and partially contribute to changing some school documents.

Background

We are the first elementary laboratory school in the Czech Republic, founded in 2016. Labyrinth is a part of the LabSchools Europe network, the International Association of Laboratory Schools, and also a faculty school of the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University Brno. We strive to comply with the principles of laboratory schools, which include social responsibility and the transferability of proven innovative activities / activities / processes to other schools. We participate in creating the so-called educational ecosystem, in which we cooperate with a number of experts in the Czech Republic and abroad. At the same time, we perceive the school as a meeting place for school staff, pupils, parents and school partners, who participate in creating a shared vision of the school and support fulfillment of educational goals. In this context, we see the implementation of the project as another way to enrich the professional competencies of teachers and life competencies of students.
