The courses and group mobility were chosen in an effort to streamline, unify and modernize our teaching and to compensate for its psychological demands with the help of sports and relaxation activities, suitably thematically linked to the goals of sustainable development. We believed that the introduction of new knowledge and methodology would help in our classes to better utilize the potential of both the pedagogues themselves and the students themselves. Respecting the methodology of the original English textbooks leads to a better learning of the material in the lessons themselves and leads to a reduction in the psychological burden of teachers and students. The effort was to transition from less communicative methods, which were automatically adopted by introducing teachers and newly arrived pedagogues, to methods with an emphasis on more active involvement of pupils, a transition from focusing on knowledge that can be used mainly in summative written tests to knowledge and skills that can naturally be used in real situations, e.g. also in our trips abroad. Better adoption of the CLIL methodology will enable the connection of foreign languages with other subjects, it will become a means to achieve the goal, viz příloha
We are the only school in the region that is strongly focused on teaching foreign languages. We have a kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade of elementary school and an afternoon club also works here and children from a wide area commute to us, we also include many children from socially and economically disadvantaged families, we have many students with specific learning disabilities, children with disabilities on the autistic spectrum , children of migrants, of other nationalities, children included in the framework of inclusion, we teach the children of foreigners the Czech language, the impact on the upbringing and education of our pupils is really very broad and important. We ourselves felt that the demands on the work of teachers and school staff have been increasing in recent years, it was necessary to enable them to get new stimuli, to help them refresh and expand their knowledgeand skills within the framework of international exchange of experience and further education in quality-led foreign courses. An important stimulus in this direction was also the inspection of the ČŠI, which took place in 2018, and whose report and results we reacted to with the content of our project. viz .příloha
