By implementing the project, we wanted to improve the quality of initial education by developing and improving the competences of employees in the area of language, in the pedagogical and didactic area, and by improving the competences of senior employees in the area of management. Experienced teachers will be the main benefit for our pupils. They will be able to transfer their newly acquired language skills to the pupils. Teachers will be better prepared for further education, which will lead to an improvement in the overall competence to teach English language, the English language using the CLIL method and the search for materials for teaching from foreign language sources. Another benefit will be the introduction of some innovative procedures, methods and forms of teaching, which we try to implement, but which are not firmly embedded in our work methods. The use of new alternative and activating methods should motivate and activate pupils for further learning, cooperation, communication and critical thinking. Gaining information and experience from other schools will lead to personal and professional development of executives. Shadowing of the leaders of the organization will bring a positive change in the work organization.
The main mission of our school is the upbringing and education of pupils fulfilling compulsory school attendance in accordance with the School Educational Program of the school "School for Life" and in accordance with the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education, issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. All activities of our school lead to the improvement of the quality of teaching, the creation of a friendly working atmosphere and the overall improvement of the school environment. We emphasize a healthy lifestyle, environmental education, polytechnic education, IT and the involvement of sports activities in children's lives. English language is taught from the 1st grade. Teachers cooperate in the preparation and implementation of competitions and organize swimming and skiing trainings, school trips and excursions. The school offers a lot of clubs for pupils. Our teachers tutor pupils at risk of school failure and approach integrated pupils individually in their teaching. We are constantly looking for and using new learning procedures and methods, we are looking for additional key competences in all areas, both among students and employees. This project has helped us in this endeavour.
