Our goal was to show pupils and employees how important it is to monitor the current requirements of employers and customers in gastronomy and services in an international environment and to respond flexibly to them. The aim of the project activities was mainly to gain practical professional experience for the pupils and to contribute to their personal and social development, as well as to increase the language skills of pupils and employees. Thanks to the implementation of the project, we managed to fulfill the goals.
We are a multidisciplinary high school that educates students in, among other things, study and teaching fields in the field of gastronomy and services. The area is developing dynamically, as customers have increasingly high demands. Therefore, it is necessary and at the same time in our interest to follow the latest trends in gastronomy and the hotel industry, to constantly advance in professional knowledge and skills in the field of language education. In this direction, the project "Let's continue!" is a huge benefit for school employees who have improved their language skills, as well as for pupils who have improved their professional competencies and language skills. Thanks to the participation of employees and pupils in mobilities, we can better motivate our pupils to study. We can better prepare them for a future professional career and their application in practice.
