We have set ourselves a number of goals. We are maintaining and improving the level of study with a focus on apprenticeships. We are improving the quality of education by expanding opportunities for apprenticeships with an international dimension. We are linking vocational training with language training. This increases the competitiveness of graduates. We offer pupils the possibility of a work placement abroad to extend the knowledge acquired during the theoretical teaching of vocational subjects in practice. We continuously support the long-term training of teaching staff. Thanks to the support of our existing teachers, we attract new teachers. With two teacher mobilities, we wanted to support their language and professional education. They will then pass on the knowledge and skills they have acquired to our pupils in regular theoretical teaching and practical teaching. By involving the teachers, we have contributed to the modernization of the teaching of IT and Economics, the introduction of the new CLIL teaching method, and the revitalization and improvement of German language teaching. We improved the language competencies of our pupils and we have started new cross-border cooperation.
We built on the successful internships from previous years. We have provided students with a placement abroad without the requirement of a financial contribution, which is a barrier to participation for many of our students. We provide education in 2 diploma and 5 apprenticeship courses. Baccalaureate courses are Civil Engineering with a focus on civil engineering and transport engineering) and Technical Lyceum with a focus on architecture, civil engineering and intelligent buildings. We improve vocational training by cooperating with companies where our pupils go and where they receive practical training. Involvement in the international Erasmus+ programme improves the quality of teaching, contributes to the professional development of our teachers and brings grant funding for the development of education at our school. The project has contributed to increasing the prestige of the school, as opportunities for foreign work experience increase interest in studying at our school. We will continue to strive for international mobility in the coming years as the professional and linguistic benefits for the pupils and teachers involved are undeniable. In theoretical and practical teaching we work with BIM technologies.
