Our task is to motivate pupils to study, socialize them and provide them with practice. A great opportunity is sending pupils on mobility abroad, which are very beneficial. Mobility contributes to the development of professional competences, knowledge of foreign languages and the development of soft skills. They enable them to experience success, which is motivating mainly for pupils with limited opportunities. Our goal was and is to keep up with the current development of the countryside and agriculture, which are facing new challenges (climate change, depopulation of the countryside and the need for the integration of disadvantaged people). ) to the teaching of Gardener and Farmer. We were looking for suitable organizations where we could draw inspiration and place pupils in practice. The aim was also to keep up with new trends in social and educational activities and to respond to the needs of target groups - children, disabled people and seniors in social facilities. We used the new stimuli from mobility to increase the quality of professional education and training of students in the field of Social Education.
The school has a long-standing tradition in the region, teaching horticulture and agriculture, pedagogy (social care and humanitarian work) and gastronomy. The school provides secondary education with a matriculation exam and secondary education with a teaching certificate. It also focuses on the education of pupils with specific educational needs and on extension studies. The school has partner relations with the surrounding gastronomic, agricultural and horticultural businesses. The target group of the project was 30 pupils of the 2nd and 3rd years of the fields of Gardener, Farmer - Chef, Cook - Waiter and Social Education. In this project, we collaborated with an already proven partner - the Italian school La Rosa Bianca, which provided students with practical experience at local eco-farms and an alternative kindergarten. The goal was to deepen the cooperation with the Italian school and build partnership relations with the eco-farms that we selected for the implementation of the mobility. We have acquired partners for placing pupils on foreign internships. We will use the experience of implementing this project for the application for accreditation in 2024.
