Objectives

Based on the needs of our school, we have defined 3 main objectives: 1. introducing new digital methods for laboratory work Gradual digitalization of teaching materials, minimizing paper consumption, sustainability, creation of teaching videos - transferring the results of internship (photos, videos, measurements, tables and graphs from research), work in the school laboratory or from compulsory internship into digital form and using them in teaching, sharing between disciplines. 2. Deepening the link between the school education system and the principles of environmental protection Developing the school's Responsible Care principle, promoting pupils' interest in the renewed environmental protection field of study, introducing environmental protection principles into all activities related to education at the school. 3. Establishment of stable cross-border links for long-term cooperation and support for practical learning. Quality and reliable partner, possibility of relevant foreign language internships for the field of Applied Chemistry and establishing further contacts.

Background

In the past, our school has been a recipient of Erasmus+ 2018, 2019 and 2020 funding for international mobility. These placements for pupils have been positively evaluated by partner organisations, school management and especially pupils. Based on repeated positive references and a 10% increase in interest in studying at our school, the school management decided to reapply for a short-term project under Call 2022 to provide international mobility for the hard-to-place Applied Chemistry course. It was also about the gradual development and maintenance of a stable cooperation with Poland. Our first experience with Erasmus+ KA1 was mobility in Slovakia, which was easy for student practice and organisation of mobility. Our pupils were able to cope with this and we decided to have only mobility abroad, which turned out to be the right step as the placements in Poland and Spain so far have been of great benefit to the pupils. After gaining further experience with short-term projects, we plan to apply for Erasmus accreditation in 2024.
