By implementing this project, we wanted to fulfil 4 goals that we set in the field of professional skills, in the field of social care, language competences, knowledge of different approaches to education and care of children, as well as activities used when working with children. In the area of professional skills, our intention was to teach the participants to work with children as part of their upbringing and education. In the area of language competence development, we wanted to improve the participants' communication skills. The third goal was to learn about other approaches to education and compare them with our Waldorf approach. The last goal was to record the activities that the interns encountered while working with children, and thus create a portfolio that we will be able to use in future work with children.
Our school has long been implementing international activities focused on cultural enrichment and social interaction of our students and teachers. We strive to ensure that all high school students, including students with fewer opportunities, have the opportunity to complete a social practicum abroad. We implemented this project with the intention of continuing the set trend and enabling our students to travel abroad, where they will gain new experiences and develop their personality. As a school, we wanted to gain experience with new destinations and establish new partnerships for our foreign activities.
