We wanted to complement the content of theoretical training with professional practice in modern operations in the cradle of mechanical engineering - in Germany, and thus respond to the new needs of practice, which was not only attractive for students, but would also create prerequisites for a quick and successful involvement in practice after graduation. For those who decide to go on to college, this new approach will create connectivity with similar majors at colleges. We wanted to use a concrete example to improve our organization for the benefit of educational people by giving them the opportunity to travel abroad, try a stay in a foreign environment, get to know this new work environment, compare it with the domestic work environment, improve existing knowledge, competences, skills, and test theoretically learned knowledge in practice and skills, development of language skills. With the project, we wanted to increase the competence of school employees by organizing the project, improve communication between pedagogues of various subjects, vocational training teachers, vocational training masters, with the school management, motivation to master a foreign language and improve in it.
The organization is established by the South Bohemian Region with its headquarters in České Budějovice for the purpose of secondary vocational education. The main activity of the organization is formal vocational education at the Secondary Vocational School, the Secondary Vocational School, the Higher Vocational School, and the school also runs a Youth Home and a School Canteen. Based on the expertise and fulfillment of the school education plan of our school, we see the context of the project and our organization by enabling the students of our school to gain work experience with continuous practice abroad. This project not only fully replaced, but also greatly enriched the continuous practice in the Czech Republic, which is compulsory in the third year. The foreign professional experience in this project is recognized as professional training and included in the classification. The students of the four-year matriculation program: Engineering (ŠVP Computer Graphics and CNC Technology) applied for the project, and a suitable support organization was found for them, and an admissions organization corresponding to the field was found for them.
