We pursued two goals in the project: 1. to increase the professional and linguistic knowledge and skills of three pupils of the 3rd year on a professional practice abroad, their independence, soaking up the atmosphere of another cultural environment in companies different from the Czech one. The pupils tried to apply the acquired knowledge from theoretical teaching in practice and, on the contrary, they found out where there are shortcomings in school teaching, where, for example, teachers transmit outdated and outdated information that no longer stands up today. 2. Enhancing the professional skills of teaching staff by shadowing in foreign schools. The aim was to gain new impulses for teaching, new methodological procedures, other modern forms of teaching and thus to expand their professional qualifications. The aim was also to establish contacts for further cooperation.
The main activity of our organization is the education of students in high school. Our graduates are high school educated workers with general and vocational education necessary to perform business functions in manufacturing companies, government and public administration, tourism and other services. Teachers have a duty to further their education, so shadowing in foreign schools can be a good impetus for changes in teaching. They can then incorporate the lessons learned into their lesson preparation and share them with other colleagues.
