The school wanted to simulate situations from the future working life of students and support the development of their language, digital and professional competencies, as well as support their personal and social growth. Pupils' participation in international mobility compensated their handicaps due to the lack of opportunities for internships in large companies. Pupils were guided to environmentally sustainable behavior and needs of continuing education. The school also wanted to prevent early school leaving, which mainly affects socially disadvantaged pupils. They were motivated to attend regularly and to benefit well. Through the implementation of the project, the school wanted to increase the language, professional, pedagogical and digital competences of teachers. Through personal participation in the process of planning, preparation and organization of mobilities, the school wanted to support their personal growth to be able to continue in meeting school needs in long terms.
School prepares graduates with economic and technical education. Monitoring of trends in technologies, development of competencies of school staff, pupils and modernization of teaching methods are clear priorities of the school. The school is located in a disadvantaged region on the border of the Vysočina Region and the Pardubice Region. Many pupils come from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, almost a quarter suffer from learning disabilities and require an individual approach from teachers. The school needs to offer students activities that will support their personal, social and professional development in order to educate confident graduates who will benefit local companies and institutions. The weak point of the school is also the age structure and language competences of teachers. Gaining teachers' foreign experience and regular reflection on their own procedures is extremely important both for putting our students into practice and for the competitivenes of the school.
