Priorities in the field of international cooperation include cooperation with a network of partner universities of similar focus and with the foreign business sector, where a significant part of the compulsory and optional internships of the students of ŠKODA AUTO University are carried out. In addition to student and employee mobility, cooperation with partner universities includes research and applied projects (including capacity building and development projects) and double degree programs (currently with four foreign universities). The priorities in the area of international cooperation are based on the strategic objectives of Škoda Auto University and are formulated in the university´s Internationalization Strategy for the period from 2021. The internationalisation strategy of Škoda Auto University includes supporting students, academic and non-academic staff in gaining experience from abroad. All project activities and related activities contribute to achieving goals of this strategy. All activities have a positive effect, such as gaining experience abroad, but also gaining and transferring knowledge and know-how. The main objective of engaging in the project is to contribute to the strategic objectives. That is, to provide opportunities for students and staff who undertake mobility abroad. This will contribute to the knowledge transfer in an international environment. Another goal is to attract international students to the Škoda Auto University, which will contribute to the creation of an intercultural environment.
