The primary goal of implementing VŠTE's internationalization strategy through the Erasmus+ program was to increase the involvement of students and staff in international activities, thereby fostering a dynamic, innovative, and internationally competitive environment. By focusing on mobility, international collaboration, and intercultural exchange, the project contributes to improving the educational process and prepares students for the global labor market, where key skills such as critical thinking, digital competence, and independent problem-solving are essential. Another major objective of the project was to improve the infrastructure supporting international activities, leading to more effective management of mobility programs and international partnerships. High-quality and modern infrastructure ensures the smooth implementation of mobilities and other international projects, opening up broader opportunities for both students and staff. These improvements facilitate access to international opportunities, whether through physical mobility or by participating in remote projects. At the same time, they ensure that the administration of international activities is as simple and efficient as possible. Deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation with international partners was another key goal of the project. Establishing and developing partnerships with universities, research centers, and companies both within and outside Europe provides students and staff with new opportunities to develop professional skills, share best practices, and exchange knowledge. These collaborations are also essential for the future careers of students, allowing them to gain firsthand experience in working and studying in an international environment. Special attention was given to improving the conditions for incoming foreign students on short-term exchange stays. In addition to language and administrative support, it was important to provide sufficient accommodation capacity and create an environment where foreign students feel integrated into the academic community. This includes not only technical support but also cultural and social activities that enhance the quality of their stay and contribute to a positive assessment of their time at VŠTE. A significant outcome of the project is the increased participation of students in various forms of mobility. The Erasmus+ program offers students the opportunity to engage in physical mobility, blended mobility, or the concept of "internationalization at home," enabling students to gain international experience without the need to travel. International exchanges contribute to students' personal development, improving their language and intercultural skills and giving them a better understanding of global challenges, providing them with a competitive advantage when entering the job market. In addition to students, mobility is also essential for academic and administrative staff. Participation in international mobility allows staff to expand their professional skills, enhance teaching quality, and implement new pedagogical methods and innovations inspired by foreign experiences. This mutual exchange of knowledge and methods benefits not only individual staff members but also contributes to the overall improvement of the educational process at VŠTE. Newly established contacts and partnerships foster further collaboration, ensuring that the institution continues to move forward. International internships and study stays abroad are crucial for the development of students' transversal skills. These experiences not only expand their professional knowledge but also strengthen their ability to adapt to new situations, improve teamwork, and enhance their problem-solving skills in different cultural and professional contexts. These skills are invaluable to future employers and ensure that VŠTE graduates are better prepared for the dynamic and increasingly globalized work environment. The project also contributed to enhancing VŠTE’s prestige on the international stage. Active involvement in international projects and partnerships not only strengthens the institution's position but also attracts new talent, both from students and staff. As a result, VŠTE is profiling itself as a modern and open institution capable of responding to global trends in education and research. The implementation of this project aimed to create a sustainable and effective framework for internationalization, which strengthens the school’s competitiveness and prepares students for the challenges of the international environment.
