Objectives

Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE) is the largest public university of economics in the Czech Republic. Currently, more than 13,000 students study here. The strategy for the development of international relations and the international environment at VSE is based on cooperation with high-quality foreign partner schools and membership in international organisations and networks that bring together the best business schools. A high quality network of partners has been built up, which currently covers more than 250 prestigious universities from all continents. Approximately 1,000 students are sent abroad each year and a similar number of international students are accepted. The Erasmus+ programme is a key pillar of the VSE international activities. The main objective of this project was to support the trend of internationalisation and to focus primarily on deepening exchanges within existing partners or to establish new partnerships i.e. for organising Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP). The long-term goal is to increase the number of students and staff with international experience of various types - not only mobilities for study, but also blended intensive programmes, internships including short-term research traineeships, teaching activities and training of administrative staff from various departments.
