Objectives

The aim of implementing mobility programs at our institution is to enhance the profile of our graduates and provide them with better prospects for increased competitiveness in the future job market. Initially focused on student mobility, the project later expands to include staff as well. Aligned with the vision and mission of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, JAMU leverages international mobility opportunities to nurture top-tier artists and develop the talents of its students. Through the Erasmus+ program, we actively promote the international dimension of higher education, as outlined in our Strategic Plan. By supporting students during exchanges at partner universities and art institutions abroad, we aim to broaden their educational horizons. These experiences not only allow them to immerse themselves in a different academic environment and improve their foreign language skills but, more importantly, expose them to alternative teaching methods and trends in both education and the arts. For students in interpretive disciplines—such as instrumental performance, conducting, singing, or acting—this offers a unique opportunity to elevate their artistic profile and grow as professionals.
