Objectives

With the 2022 call, the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague continued its successful implementation of the new Erasmus+ programme. While the 2021 call introduced many new activities, requiring fresh implementation strategies and new information campaigns for both Erasmus staff and participants, the 2022 call focused primarily on maintaining these well-established strategies, refining them, and, importantly, expanding the range of activities. The 2022 call had three times the budget of the 2021 call, enabling CZU to enhance both the quality and quantity of its implementation. The Erasmus staff at CZU worked towards the full-scale execution of all Erasmus activities, and I believe this mission was accomplished successfully. Due to the number of mobilities postponed because of the COVID pandemic, the interest from both staff and students in the Erasmus mobility programme was significantly higher than in the previous call—and even greater than we had anticipated. Thanks to the successful implementation of all activities, the CZU community once again had the opportunity to acquire intercultural competencies and broaden its international portfolio while maintaining strong and strategic partnerships.
