Objectives

In order to empower people, encourage self-organization, and raise awareness about racism in sports and fair play, we wanted to approach this initiative positively. According to our work philosophy, it is crucial to establish a shared, participatory space in which sports and various cultural and educational activities enable young people to reinterpret themselves as agents for social change in their own communities. This is made possible by an activity like sport, which is crucial in their own execution. Youth exchange aimed to discourage prejudice and discrimination in the sporting community and to foster acceptance, inclusion ,equality, and support. The project's primary focus was on the great ideals of sports, including fair play, respect, cooperation, and friendship. Millions of Europeans consider sports to be an essential part of their lives. Support for sports encourages social inclusion, strengthens a sense of belonging, and enhances European identity. To ensure that sports continue to address challenges in this area, policymakers, education professionals, and regional and national experts are directly and frequently involved. Many high-level and grassroots initiatives, supported by the Directorate-General of Education, Youth, Sport, and Culture (DG EAC), have the goal of fostering communication between regional and local organizations in order to help Europeans get more engaged. Additionally, the EC is committed to ensuring that sport fosters fundamental values through effective governance. The EC specifically advances anti-doping, anti-violence, anti-corruption, and anti-racism policies with the aim of adopting best practices. The project's objectives included encouraging young participants to use courteous and peaceful behavior, supporting their professional, social, and personal growth with non-formal learning methods, and implementing effective methods in sports. The importance of fair play was not diminished. Fair play is a broad concept that encompasses many fundamental principles that are significant in both sports and daily life. We made an effort to accomplish the following goals: 1. Encourage fair play in both sports and daily life. 2. Recognize the causes of young people's intolerance. 3. Recognize the dangers that racism can pose to one's physical and mental health. 4. To raise awareness of the topic and participants' attitudes toward violence and examine their behavior. 5. Encourage young people to engage in constructive socializing and involvement. 6. Create an environment for networking, sharing, and learning. 7. Enhance the general understanding of youth as a whole and promote the ideals of democracy and equality. 8. Foster a sense of community among Europeans and promote EU values. 9. Create a youth group in Europe that will use its connections to forge enduring friendships and promote tolerance and peace. The youth exchange included people with limited economic, social, and geographic opportunities. For Partner Organizations, the objectives were to: - To establish a network and partnership for potential sports-related projects. - To provide participants the opportunity to develop their skills. - To carry out other initiatives. - To give young people who have fewer opportunities a chance to participate in Erasmus+ mobilities.
