The project, "Digital Storytelling: Tell y(our) story on social media," originated from discussions among youth workers who recognized the potential of creating a platform to educate people about social problems and raise awareness through social media channels. In the digital era of the 21st century, where messages can be shared globally with a single click, the project aims to enable participants to effectively convey their messages while enhancing their digital skills and understanding of social issues. The core concept of the project involves organizing a comprehensive Training Course, welcoming participants from eight different countries. Throughout the course, participants will be equipped with knowledge on various social problems, social inclusion, discrimination, and essential digital skills, including multimedia tools and social media strategies. The project consists of two distinct phases, allowing participants to enhance their skills and then apply them practically within the local community. Participants engaged in skill development sessions conducted by experienced trainers with expertise in Erasmus+ programs. These sessions empowered participants to become local leaders and raise awareness about social issues effectively. Moreover, they also explored the city, venue, and discovered and document local social stories through photography. The main objectives of the "Digital Storytelling: Tell y(our) story on social media" project were as follows: To utilize social media platforms as a means to address and discuss social problems. To enhance the digital skills and competencies of youth workers and young people in leveraging social media for addressing social issues in their local communities.
