The project addressed the need for increasing youth worker’s capacity for dealing with unexpected challenges, unforeseen situations and overall times of uncertainty by applying principles of change management and creative problem solving. Aim: To equip youth workers with overall knowledge and specific tools of change management and creative problem solving in youth work Objectives: 1. To introduce the main principles of Change Management in relation to youth work during and post- COVID 19 2. To explore how creativity and flexibility in times of change can be used to tackle arising problems and create innovative solutions for working with target groups 3. To provide youth workers with specific tools of creative problem solving and decision making 4. To create a space for youth workers to try out gained knowledge and skills in practice, and create their own practical solutions relevant for their organisations and target groups Most importantly, the impact that we strived to achieve is the overall shift from negative and anxious outlook on the new realities of youth work we deal with today, to a mentality that sees change as opportunity to innovate, create, and find new solutions. Hence the name "CreateAbility": by using new knowledge and skills we aim to equip the youth workers with the Ability to create new reality.
