Objectives

The Erasmus+ KA171 programme represents an important part of the international cooperation portfolio at Tomas Bata University in Zlín (UTB). Although this programme does not currently support a large number of mobilities compared to other types of Erasmus+ projects, its contribution is crucial, particularly in developing strategic partnerships beyond the European Union. Through this programme, UTB has been able to initiate and strengthen collaboration with institutions in third countries, especially in regions that are not traditionally involved in academic exchange. The aim is not just mobility itself, but the building of long-term academic and professional relationships, knowledge sharing, and the development of joint activities with a strong emphasis on quality and sustainability. As part of one of the implemented Erasmus+ KA171 projects, UTB successfully carried out 12 mobilities in cooperation with two international partners: ROYAL THIMPHU COLLEGE (RTC) Universum College The collaboration with RTC in Bhutan focused primarily on the development of environmental studies and nature conservation. The cooperation with Universum College in Kosovo was mainly aimed at the development of both students and staff development.
