The aim of the project was to support Masaryk University’s internationalization strategy and fulfill its key priorities – openness to the world, equal opportunities, and the development of global cooperation. It sought to strengthen the intercultural competencies of participants in mobilities outside the EU, expand academic partnerships, and create new opportunities for collaboration, while contributing to the improvement of teaching, support services, and the digitalization of mobility-related processes. In line with the university’s strategic goals, the project aimed to increase the number of mobilities, enhance support for applicants with specific needs, expand courses in foreign languages, and attract top international academics, thereby reinforcing links to international excellence in research and development.Although the implementation was affected by geopolitical and economic changes, the measures introduced allowed the planned objectives to be achieved – if not fully in quantity, then certainly in quality. The project contributed to Masaryk University’s long-term strategy as an open and internationally active institution, strengthened its global academic position, and laid a solid foundation for further international coop.
