Objectives

The University of Hradec Králové aimed, through this International Credit Mobility project, to deepen cooperation in mobility, strengthen the internationalization of the participating universities, including “internationalization at home”, and support joint scientific and research activities with partner institutions. The project sought to identify strong areas for cooperation, further develop existing partnerships, and share good practices. UHK is an experienced ICM coordinator; this was already its seventh project, with all partners having cooperated within ICM several times before. The preparatory semester was originally planned for winter 2022/2023, with mobilities to follow in summer 2022/2023, winter and summer 2023/2024, and winter 2024/2025. The final semester (summer 2024/2025) was reserved for mobilities that could not be implemented as planned. Due to the need to postpone mobilities from the previous call affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the first mobilities were carried out only in winter 2023/2024, and it was necessary to use the reserve semester. Moreover, the ongoing war in Ukraine made cooperation with Russian partners impossible, and funds allocated to Russia could not be used.
