The goal of the project is partnership, friendship and international cooperation, fulfilling another long-term goal of both partners: a European school open to innovation in the European area with a focus (except for sports) on environmental and multicultural education, the use of activating methods and forms (e.g. peer, flipped and experiential learning in nature, CLIL, research-oriented teaching, etc.) and the integration of modern ICT into teaching using the e Twinning project. Support for activating learning in environmental education and internationalization are the key goals of the European Development Plan of both project partners, which the joint project "Inspiration for Green Europe" and the partnership fulfills.
In order to implement measures under the "Green Deal for Europe", which are supposed to ensure the sustainability of the EU economy, it is necessary to educate citizens regardless of age and borders, which is reflected in the name of the project. ZŠ Brno Arménská 21, CZ with extended swimming lessons and the partner school OŠ Naklo Slovinsko, a folklore culture school, are faculty university schools and guarantors of internships. They also ensure individual access to disadvantaged pupils and talented children who are intensively involved in sports or other areas of activities that the school offers above-standard as part of inclusion. The joint current goal of both partners is "Quality, safe and open school" Priorities of partners in the project: Environment and fight against climate change, common values and civic engagement, development of key competences in school education. Themes: new teaching and learning methods and approaches, digital skills and competences, inclusion, promotion of equality and non-discrimination within the framework of priority task solutions. The long-term goal of education at both schools is the all-round development of all their pupils, employees and teacher students in a European context.
