The goals were to educate youth workers in the area of ecology and experiental pedagogy and to give them tools how to implement it, to promote inclusion and diversity by creation of accessible experiental activities, to support youths to behave more ecologically and give them tools how to do so, to create a shared methodology of implementation of experiental pedagogy related to ecology and to exchange good practice from all involved organizations.
SVC Decko Nachod was a newcomer in the area of Erasmus+ partnership projects. One of the goals of our organization was to develop in a new area and this way to contribute to the society. That is the reason why we decided to apply for this type of project. Based on previous seminars togehter with the cooperating organizations, we found out the need to offer attractive ways of non-formal education aimed on ecology. The experiental pedagogy seemed as a great way how to involve target groups and to have this goal met. The project addressed following needs: -to contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development -to educate and motivate youth to partake in activities of this kind (esp. active participation in local initiatives) -to offer target groups the possibility to spend free time in safe space, living in a good, clean environment, in safe and inclusive society -education of youth workers, development of the organizations, good practice exchange -creating active community that contributes to better state of the evironment, developing initiatives
