For over 30 years, internationality has played a decisive role in shaping HSB's profile. The Erasmus program is the most important and best-known third-party funded mobility program at HSB, both in terms of the available budget and the number of mobilities. Due to the long duration of the ERASMUS+ programme, HSB consistently pursues, deepens and expands its internationalization strategy on a long-term and sustainable basis. At HSB, more than half of the undergraduate degree courses are international and it strives to strengthen, deepen and further develop the cooperation of its international network of partner universities, including more than 230 partners in Europe. This is reflected in the mobility flows of more than 50% outgoings. In addition, the skills acquired abroad qualify students for the German and international job market. In addition, the HSB program offers the opportunity not only to strengthen cooperation and increase the quantity, but also to focus on the consistent effort to remove obstacles to mobility in order to promote the quality of Erasmus stays abroad.
