Objectives

The Erasmus+ program is a central component of Kiel University of Applied Sciences' internationalization strategy, with over 60 partnerships, positioning Europe as a key strategic collaborator. The strategy prioritizes mobility experiences for students and staff, aiming to expand intercultural understanding and develop skills crucial for active participation in European society and success in a globalized workforce. Kiel UAS focuses on preparing graduates for diverse careers and strives to offer varied mobility options, ensuring accessibility for all university members. Overcoming financial barriers, providing infrastructure, and managing supportive systems are vital for achieving these goals. The program facilitates substantial international experiences, fostering intercultural exchange in learning, teaching, and research, contributing to internationalization at home. Students not undertaking a mobility themselves benefit from incoming international exchange students, enriching their intercultural exposure. The program also supports the establishment of sustainable global networks, integrating international perspectives into the curriculum. It enhances teaching and research methodologies and creates international visibility.
