Objectives

Internationalisation is of great importance to Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU). The EU education programmes, including Erasmus+, are among the key initiatives for continuously promoting internationalisation and further enhancing the university's global dimension. THU has a well-established international network that facilitates the mobility of students and staff at all levels. One of the university's primary strategic goals is to improve the quality of studies, research, teaching, and administration through institutional and personnel internationalisation efforts. This is founded on the belief that time spent abroad has a lasting and character-building impact on both students and staff. In terms of staff development, the university actively supports international assignments for faculty and employees. The strategy of sending teams of several colleagues to a partner university has proven to be highly motivating. The KA131 project aims to further expand the mobility of staff and students as well as to strengthen the exchange with partner institutions.
