In the 2022 project, TU Dortmund University (TUDO) has pursued the clear goal of increasing the number of students and employees who complete a stay abroad as part of the Erasmus+ program and at the same time further improving the program quality, especially with regard to the thematic focus “Equal Opportunities for International Mobility”. TUDO also aimed to use the funds from the 2020 to 2022 calls as efficiently as possible so that the mobilities registered here deviate from the actual mobility figures for the 2022/23 academic year. As a further objective, the priority topics of the new program generation and the new opportunities (e.g. international mobility; BIP) were immediately strategically integrated and prioritized. The project was designed to make optimal use of all facets of the new program generation and the financial opportunities within the available funds so that TUDO students and employees could benefit directly. In addition, the focus at times was on overcoming the challenges (e.g. high number of outgoings eligible for social top-up, EU tools not functioning reliably).
