Chemnitz University of Technology had a number of primary objectives for the implementation of the project. As many eligible applicants as possible were to be enabled to participate in the programme and carry out a funded mobility abroad in order to realise mobility for study stays to Chemnitz University of Technology's Erasmus+ partner universities as well as staff mobilities for teaching and training and to provide financial support from the project funds. At the same time, the project implementation should successfully contribute to the achievement of the objectives defined in the relevant Programme Guide and the implementation of the programme's priorities. In particular, the focus was on enabling participants to get to know and learn about teaching and research methods in a European context, developing interdisciplinary skills, improving employability, promoting inclusion and equal opportunities, developing skills in digitalisation and sustainability, improving foreign language skills, expanding intercultural and democratic awareness and understanding European values. In addition, the aim was to implement all project activities in the highest possible quality and in accordance with the requirements, obligations and guidelines of the programme. In the context of internationalisation strategy, Chemnitz University of Technology had also set itself the goal of using project implementation to further advance the continued expansion of internationalisation at the university and its partner universities in terms of numbers and quality, in conjunction with strengthening the international profile of all participating institutions. This was also accompanied by the objective of contributing to the further strengthening and networking of the Common European Higher Education Area.
