Objectives

The University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover Foundation (TiHo) has been using the Erasmus programme for years to promote the internationalisation of the university and its members. This is largely achieved through the KA131 mobility projects. The experiences of our students and staff made abroad as well as the "internationalisation at home", which is achieved through the incoming staff and students, the Erasmus programme provides us with significant support in this area. By implementing the project 2022-1-DE01-KA131-HED-000052549, we wanted to achieve to strengthen the internationalisation of our university, to improve the foreign language skills of our university staff and strengthen the European identity of our outgoing and incoming students. The TiHo is a very strong research orientated university and therefore has a very strong international network. The Erasmus programme enables us to promote young academics in close cooperation with our European partners. In addition to student mobilities, staff mobilities are also playing an increasingly important role at the TiHo.
