Offenburg University of Applied Sciences places great importance on cooperation with other international organisations and universities. Our region in south-eastern Germany is close to France and Switzerland and is characterised by a globalised living, working and academic environment as well as transnational cooperation across borders. Our participation in the Erasmus+ project is a fundamental building block for achieving the goals of our internationalisation strategy, especially when it comes to exchange and cooperation with international partners. The project helps to ensure that our students and employees can take part in mobility programmes. Without the financial support of a broad-based programme such as the Erasmus+ programme, the options for many of our students and employees would be very limited. Being part of the Erasmus+ project enables us to strengthen participants' international, professional and language skills, to support their personal development and to prepare them for the demands of an international labour market. In addition, it also increases the attractiveness and expertise of the university.
