Objectives

FH Münster University of Applied Sciences sees itself as an institution which not only has the task to convey training of subject-specific skills, but also to prepare mobility participants for changes in a global world by offering them the possibility to obtain competences in tackling extensive global problems. Fostering language competencies as well as an understanding and knowledge of intercultural aspects are key skills to handle today‘s challenges. Hence, FH Münster University of Applied Sciences' internationalisation strategy has a strong focus on the internationalisation of teaching and on expanding its international activities for students as well as teaching and non-teaching staff. Students, teachers and staff are encouraged to participate in a mobility period abroad. For those who do not have the possibility to take part in an exchange program due to personal or financial reasons, FH Münster University of Applied Sciences has a wide range of opportunities to obtain international competences at home through workshops, language courses, summer schools and joint activities with international students. The Erasmus+ programme is FH Münster's most important mobility programme in terms of individual mobility.
