Objectives

The Erasmus+ program is an important tool for Hannover Medical School to provide its students with a wide range of international study and internship experiences. It is therefore an indispensable part of our internationalization strategy. After the two years of 2020 and 2021, which were impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, our primary goal in 2022 was once again to offer as many students as possible the opportunity to study or do an internship abroad. The pandemic in particular has shown how important international contacts were in combating the pandemic in the healthcare sector. Major global challenges can only be overcome in the future through international cooperation in the fields of medicine and natural sciences. That is why we want to help as many of our students as possible to make international contacts at an early stage, to network internationally and to acquire and deepen foreign language skills by participating in the Erasmus+ program.
