Internationalization is a key strategic pillar at Hochschule Worms, reflected in the diverse student body of over 3,200 currently enrolled students, with international presence visible daily on campus. Approximately 800 of these students come from abroad, including both degree-seeking and exchange students. The ERASMUS+ program plays a pivotal role in the university's international strategy. However, we have faced challenges in fully realizing all planned mobilities, particularly in student exchanges, as many students opted for internships over study abroad opportunities or chose to attend partner institutions outside the ERASMUS+ framework. Additionally, the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to impact our mobility numbers, which have yet to return to pre-pandemic levels.
