Objectives

For our university, participation in the Erasmus+ programme is important to support the internationalisation strategy. Internationalisation is a major pillar of our university strategy and a measure to modernise and improve the quality of teaching. It is important for our university to participate in the Erasmus+ programme to support our internationalisation strategy. Internationalisation is a major pillar of our university strategy and a measure to modernise and improve the quality of teaching. In this way, we want to offer our local and international students, teaching staff, dual partner companies and university partners attractive opportunities for international activities and projects. The Erasmus+ programme supports our university in being a modern and internationally oriented place to study. It makes a significant contribution to achieving our goals for student and staff mobility. By participating in the Erasmus+ programme, we strengthen cooperation with European and international universities and facilitate the exchange and implementation of international projects. Within the Erasmus+ programme, we have been able to increase the number of cooperation agreements with universities in Europe and thus create the framework for a wide range of cooperation opportunities: Student mobility, short mobilities, staff mobility, projects with blended learning activities. Spending time abroad broadens the professional experience and intercultural skills of participants and raises the educational level of students. The project thus makes an important contribution to students' employability. By participating in the Erasmus+ programme, mobility measures and projects can be managed and financed in a focused manner. We make an active contribution at our university to advancing the Erasmus+ programme's focus areas of inclusion and equal opportunities, sustainability, digitalisation and civic engagement.
