The Konstanz University of Applied Sciences is a modern university with an application-oriented focus. It offers a broad range of subjects and benefits from its interdisciplinary approach and the combination of theory and practice. The international orientation is a core concern of the university. Participation in the ERASMUS program pursues the strategic goal of opening up successful career and life opportunities for students from different backgrounds. Although stays abroad, the the appropriation of intercultural skills for the globalized world of work and the acquisition or consolidation of foreign language skills have long been an integral part of studying at the university, participation in the ERASMUS programme is intended to make these the norm and expand them further. The central components of the ERASMUS programme - the recognition of academic achievements abroad with the help of ECTS and financial support for students - form an essential basis for the increasing internationalization of the university. The university currently has more than 35 European university partnerships as part of the ERASMUS program.
