We had deliberately only applied for a small budget for the 2022 project because we had funded two SMS cohorts from the 2020 project (2020/21 and 2021/22) and the 2022 SMS cohort in in the second project year of 2021. We wanted to return to regular financial management cycle and fund the 2023/24 cohort from the 2023 project , yet we also wanted to create a financial buffer to try out new forms of mobility from the new program generation (short-term mobilities). As the project funds in the 2023 project were not sufficient for the entire cohort, we funded some of the students (medicine) from the 2022 project. Regular STT and STA mobilities were also to be funded.
