The Erasmus+ programme for student and staff mobility is the foundation of the European dimension in Aalen University's internationalisation strategy and thus one of its most important elements. Anchoring the European dimension in the form of the Erasmus+ programme to achieve its goals is also part of the University's 2024-2028 structure and development plan. By implementing the project, the university aims to facilitate and increase mobility in both directions. The programme also serves to create an international campus where different cultures can come together. No other programme makes it so easy for university members, whether students, staff or professors, to participate in internationalisation. The project 2022-1-DE01-KA131-HED-000055511 therefore also serves in particular to promote the personal development of students in order to prepare them as future specialists and managers in a Europeanised economy with a global focus to take on professional and social responsibility.
