Objectives

In line with RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HSRM)' internationalization strategy and the Erasmus Policy Statement, internationalization is a a fundamental element of our overall strategy. It is considered a prerequisite for high quality degree programs, teaching, and research, enhancing the university's appeal to students, faculties and partners in industry, teaching and research. We maintain partnerships with universities worldwide, with a strong focus on Europe. The Erasmus+ program holds a central role in our internationalization strategy, facilitating experiences abroad for many people from different target groups. Especially in the current uncertain times within the European Union, marked by armed conflicts, the rise of populist parties, a tendency toward nationalism, travel restrictions, and pandemic-related crises, fostering exchange and mutual understanding within Europe is crucial. The Erasmus program makes an exceptional contribution to this objective. Our aim is to embody internationalism on all levels, ensuring that international opportunities are accessible to all university students and staff. Accordingly, applications have been submitted and implemented for all four mobility lines.
