Trier University of Applied Sciences is an internationally oriented university with regional roots. It cooperates with international partners in research and teaching and promotes the exchange of students, professors, lecturers and staff. As part of this Erasmus project, Trier University of Applied Sciences has carried out 99 of the approved mobilities, including a BIP, in accordance with the EU's contractually prescribed guidelines. This corresponds to the approved figures for student mobility and exceeds them for staff mobility, meaning that the desired experience abroad was actually promoted for all those interested in studying and also in the staff area. The internationalization of the university itself was promoted by the Erasmus activities carried out. In particular, there were also many new employees and lecturers who enriched the international landscape of the university through their Erasmus-funded mobility, in connection with the newly developed internationalization strategy of Trier University of Applied Sciences. With the help of additional staff hired from other sources and a wider range of language courses, support for mobile students, both incomings and outgoings, was also intensified, and incomings also benefited from the introduction of a buddy program.
