Mobility, with a particular focus on increasing the number of exchanges through the ERASMUS+ programme, is a cornerstone of internationalisation at HS Gesundheit. Currently, the ERASMUS+ program primarily supports students in securing internships at foreign healthcare institutions. Due to the unique structure of HS Gesundheit's interdisciplinary and innovative courses, study semesters abroad are challenging to coordinate and thus less frequently pursued. The International Office is actively working to increase participation through targeted information and communication strategies. To date, faculty mobility under the ERASMUS+ program has mainly been aimed at continuing education, which is vital for fostering professional exchange with international colleagues and ultimately enhancing the quality of teaching and learning at HS Gesundheit. Both faculty and students typically return from their international experiences highly motivated and enthusiastic, often eager for future opportunities abroad. Additionally, HS Gesundheit participated in a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) for the first time last year, which is set to continue and serves as a model initiative for other departments within the university.
