Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) has successfully participated in Erasmus every year since the programme began. European mobility funding is a central component in achieving RUB's strategic internationalisation goals in the area of internationalisation of teaching and learning. The Erasmus funding in KA 131 is of particular importance for the following RUB objectives: - Enabling early, diverse and repeated international and intercultural experiences for students and early career researchers abroad and for on-site - Increasing the number of international students and academics at RUB through attractive offers in research, teaching and transfer/global engagement, supported by efficient and customised services - Development of an informed, cosmopolitan attitude and intercultural competence of all RUB members
