In accordance with the mission statement and the principles of the internationalisation strategy of the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg and the current Erasmus University Charter, every interested student and employee of the University of Würzburg should be given the opportunity to spend a period abroad as part of the Erasmus programme. A study and/or work-related stay abroad is seen as an essential component of high-quality study/personal development and should not only serve academic/professional, but also (inter)cultural further education and training.
