The priority for implementing project 2022 was maintaining effective academic mobility as a cornerstone of internationalization at TH Köln. A stable, reliable mobility program is the foundation of providing students and staff with meaningful and effective international academic experiences. This meant continuing to prioritize the continuation of the successful mobility formats while integrating new formats and solidifying implementation of the new funding logic. One goal was to increase participation in mobilities for all target groups, which required making the program’s new benefits, especially the additional support for participants with fewer opportunities, more widely known. TH Köln also stayed committed to making internationalization more sustainable and advertised opportunities for financial support for more sustainable travel options in the program. Lastly, TH Köln aimed to continue to improve the digitalization of mobility processes, both internally as well as within the EWP network, in order to improve administrative processing times, workload and participant satisfaction.
