The Erasmus programme has been an essential part of the internationalisation of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences for many years and plays a beacon role in this regard. The international network of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences comprises over 100 partner institutions within the framework of Erasmus, which underlines the importance of Europe and European programmes for the university. H_da is a member of the EUA, the Global Polytechnic Education Alliance and HAWTech. In addition, h_da was successful in the European University Initiative and is part of the transnational alliance European University of Technology (EUt+).
