The possibility of funding international mobility through Erasmus+ promotes active commitment to the European project and a European identity among university members. The University of Greifswald is guided by the following strategic guidelines: 1. the internationalization of studies and teaching aims to train internationally networked and globally responsible leaders. 2. the professional bilingual/multilingual digital presence on all possible channels (homepage, social media, etc.) and the clear communication of the University's international activities and networks are of decisive importance for increasing the international visibility and attractiveness of the UG. 3. the central focus of the partnership policy in the coming years will be the establishment and expansion of strategic university partnerships with HEIs in the Eastern region and throughout Europe. 4. the UG promotes the international mobility of its members at all levels and in all areas. 5. the University acts as a driving force against xenophobia and is committed to education and cosmopolitanism in the region.
