Erasmus+ is an indispensable component in achieving the goals that the university has set itself in the policy paper on internationalization in academic affairs adopted by the Academic Senate. The University has used the Erasmus+ funding for student, faculty and staff mobility as well as for strategic cooperation with selected partner universities in the various fields of action of internationalization: - Increase of mobilities (target group oriented and focused). - Internationalization of teaching content (in cooperation with selected partner universities) - Internationalization@Home - Expansion of internationalized study structures (study programs, study modules, double degrees in cooperation with selected partner universities) - Teaching of intercultural competencies (e.g. foreign language and culture concept) - Establishment, expansion and consolidation of international networks (with partner universities) Through these activities, values such as tolerance and openness are promoted and the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences contributes to a modern, cosmopolitan society as well as to the formation of a European identity and awareness of Europe's diversity.
