The University of Kassel sees itself as a European university with an international orientation. Internationalization is firmly anchored in its strategy and is continuously being developed. This includes, among other things, the expansion of the international teaching and research offer, the promotion of stays abroad by students and lecturers, the expansion of international cooperation and the internationalization of the administration. The Erasmus program, which has been an integral part of the university's international activities since 1987, contributes significantly to achieving these goals.
